Genesis Housing Group has appointed Allison Sofekun as the new Group Director of Corporate Services. Allison who is already employed by Genesis brings valuable and broad experience from her previous positions in practice, consulting and commerce.

Before entering the UK public sector, Allison trained and qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG. She has extensive audit, consulting, strategic HR and other private sector experience, as well as over twelve years' experience across a range of housing disciplines. Allison gained an MBA at Cranfield University, School of Management, in 2004.

Commenting on her new role, Allison says, "Genesis is a lead player in the sector and I am excited about this new role, which provides the opportunity to shape functions critical to enabling the Group's delivery of excellent services to its key stakeholders".
