Genesis Community has its own Financial Inclusion Officer,
Bob Butler who offers free and confidential advice to tenants and
can help you maximise your income and develop an action
plan.
The service offered includes:
- Help and support with debt
- Suggesting ways to deal with
creditors
- General money advice
- Guidance on opening a basic bank
account
- Set up monthly debits (to get discounts on
bills)
- Refer tenants to specialist
organisations
- Provide a Financial Health Check (which lists all
income, outgoings, debts and arrears)
- Refer tenants to local recycling
projects

This is one of the recycling projects Genesis Community is
involved in. If you are a tenant of Genesis (Springboard and PCHA)
on benefits or low income then you may qualify. It doesn't cost you
a penny to find out more and you are under no obligation to
buy.
