We are one of the UK's largest and most successful providers of
homes for rent and sale, providing homes and services to tens of
thousands of people across London and the south east. The Group
consists of PCHA, Pathmeads and Springboard housing associations,
owning and/or managing some 40,000 homes. In 2005 we launched a new
independent charitable trust, Genesis Community, to tackle
deprivation and social exclusion programme.
PCHA provides homes for more than 15,000
households across 47 local authorities in London and the south
east. The team also provides support services for vulnerable
residents and work closely with local authority partners to ensure
fair access to homes for those people most in need. As the founding
member of the Genesis Group, PCHA has more than 45 years'
experience of owning and managing homes with tenant involvement at
its heart.
Pathmeads is the
largest Registered Social Landlord in London, providing property
management services for more than 21,000 homes. The contracts
division manages homes for other landlords including local
authorties, housing associations, primary care and NHS trusts,
developers and private investors. The temporary housing division
specialises in the provision of temporary accomodation, managing
more than 6,000 privately leased homes around London and the Home
Counties. Pathmeads Property Services is the internal
contractor to the Genesis Group providing reactive, planned and
major works to the Genesis subsidiaries and is also pursuing
contracts externally.
Springboard provides mixed tenure management
services to more than 5,000 homes in the east of England.
Springboard is also a specialist provider of supported housing. It
manages some 1,000 homes for older and vulnerable people in
supported schemes across 43 local authorities.
Genesis Community was launched in 2005 as a
charitable foundation to specifically tackle the challenges of
deprivation and social exclusion in the most disadvantaged areas.
Genesis has always been strong on community development and
regeneration. More than 50 projects are already underway delivering
real change at a grass roots level across a number of themes
including; young people, vulnerable and elderly people, safer
communities, financial inclusion and training and employment.
Genesishomes is the sales arm of Genesis Housing Group.
It provides homes for sale through part-buy/part-rent and outright
sale. The team helps people who are unable to access a home of
their own within the private sector, where open market property
prices are very high and rents are expensive.
A Group treasury vehicle that enables Genesis to obtain bulk
finance at cheaper rates than they are currently available. This
allows us to fund developments flexibly. In 2005 Genesis agreed to
a new loan facilities of £550 million with some of the sector's
leading funders.
A corporate structure that enables us to undertake a more diverse
development programme with developers and
investors.
