2006/2007 was a strong year for Genesis Housing Group. Our
achievements and highlights are listed below:
- We launched the Your Place project, supporting
our vision of becoming an agent of social change within the housing
sector
- In July 2007, we launched the Building
Futures report illustrating findings from our
extensive social audit of more than 3,000 residents
- We became the first housing association to be awarded a grant
from English Partnerships under the First Time
Buyers Initiative
- We received planning consent for all of our Challenge
Fund II schemes; providing a mix of affordable and
intermediate rent and low cost home ownership options
- We added over £140 million of new sites to our
landbank
- We were re-accredited with Charter Mark for
the quality of our customer service
- We have a rapidly growing sales programme through our new
division, Genesishomes - www.genesishomes.org.uk
